GenderAlp! develops practical tools for stakeholders, policy makers and administrators in cities, communities and regions in the field of: - gender sensitive spatial planning and regional development (gender planning); - gender sensitive public house holding as well as in subsidies (gender budgeting); - gender-awareness raising actions as well as further education for the target groups to help them for implementing a requirement oriented and competitive spatial development. Overview of methods and instruments for Gender Mainstreaming, "Gender Planning" and Gender Budgeting; - gendered planning projects and public households in the different administration cultures of Austria, France, Italy, Germany and Slovenia; - a set of further education modules on Gender Mainstreaming, Gender Planning and Gender Budgeting for the French, Italian and German languages; - transfer of results at all levels of administration at communal, regional, national and transnational levels (EDSP and other EU programme levels for the following programme period); - practical use of the results in order to support a sustainable development and regional capacity building in the Alpine Space; - one step closer to gender awareness in the Alpine space countries.
