Participatory GIS research system

Description:

PPGIS research system consists of a server and a mobile terminal. It is aimed at exploring public participation in planning processes. In the core of the research system are interconnected web servers which are additionally protected against data loss with an additional redundant servers and external disk arrays. Mobile terminal is devoted to gathering public opinion on public exhibition.

UIRS, Trnovski pristan 2, Ljubljana.

How to rent

Send inquiries to the administrator of research equipment and attach a:
- your basic data (first and last name, current research work, current amployment );
- brief description of the research problem, which would require such equipment;
- about the amount of time and time frame for use of research equipment
Administrator will as soon as possible send you the answer about:
- occupancy or equipment, if the proposed terms are free and if not, which terms have not yet been occupied;
- appropriateness of your research / teaching work for work with research equipment.
After defining terms for use of equipment, depending on your previous experience and the nature of your work you will select with administrators the appropriate level of assistance.

Price for use of research equipment

Price is made up of depreciation costs, labor costs, material and maintenance services:

Price for research equipment (22% VAT included) = 5,37 €/h
Hourly rate for expert assistance in the management of equip. (22% VAT included) = 30,39 €/h
