About project:

The Strategic Research and Innovation Partnerships (SRIPs) are key instruments of national innovation policy aimed at promoting innovativeness and enhancing competitiveness in the field of smart cities and communities. The SRIP Smart Cities and Communities is one such partnership that seeks to create and develop advanced technological innovations and digital solutions designed to improve the quality of life and efficiency of urban environments. Collaboration among various stakeholders, including industry, the public sector, research institutions, and civil society, enables the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies and solutions that address the challenges facing modern cities and communities. The SRIP Smart Cities and Communities thus provides an important framework for connecting and synergizing the efforts of various actors in the field of urban innovation in Slovenia. These efforts are crucial for achieving sustainable development, increasing competitiveness, and enhancing the quality of life in urban areas.
