The project is aimed at further testing, upgrading and optimizing the indicator PREZENCA, intended for assessing the provision of settlements with publicly accessible green spaces for physical activity. As part of the task "Analysis of the quality of green spaces and accessibility for residents", the PRESENCA indicator is calculated and the provision status is verified according to the improved methodology for four selected pilot municipalities.

The project focuses on optimizing the procedures for preparing and standardizing input databases on publicly accessible green spaces and on expanding the provision assessment with aspects of quality, accessibility and use. The results of the pilot analyses enable the completion of municipal records of green spaces, an objective assessment of the situation and the preparation of expertly based recommendations for improving the spatial planning of green spaces as a support for the active lifestyle of residents.

The project represents a continuation of the research work developed within the framework of the CRP "PREZENCA" (2022–2024), and contributes to the further validation and usability of the PRESENCA indicator in spatial and urban planning at the local level.
