Martina Tekavec Bembič studied at the University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Arts), where she completed a double undergraduate degree in Geography (teacher training programme) and Sociology of Culture, followed by a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology. She has extensive experience in development, research and project-related work in both national and European contexts. Her professional work focuses on providing comprehensive support to projects, covering all stages from the strategic positioning of ideas and the preparation and submission of applications to implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation. In her work, she combines analytical thinking, an understanding of social contexts and strong operational expertise in project management. She has substantial experience in providing administrative support for project management, supporting researchers and professionals in career development, building partnerships, and integrating horizontal priorities such as ethics, open science, data management, gender equality and science communication. A significant part of her work involves preparing complex analyses, reports, call documentation and systemic solutions, as well as delivering workshops, training sessions and advisory services. She holds an ECQA Certified EU Project Manager certificate and continuously enhances her expertise through international mobility and ongoing professional development.
