M.Sc. Ina Šuklje Erjavec: is graduated (diploma and Master of Science) in Landscape Architecture at the University of Ljubljana. She is a researcher and an authorised landscape architect and licensed spatial planner. At UIRS, she works as a project leader of several projects at the national and international level. She has comprehensive research experience in theoretical and empirical studies on urban landscape planning and design, in developing urban planning and design guidance and methodology, and in practical urban landscape design and implementation. Among others, she was a project leader for Green System development in several cities, for the project “Basic guidelines and rules for the urban green development for Slovenia cities”, “Guidelines for green system planning” and a designer of the Northern City park of Ljubljana. She was a leader of the UIRS partner team in different international projects, among others, GreenKeys and was an active member in several COST Actions related to different aspects of urban green space among others, she was a Vice-chair of the COST TU1306 CyberParks.
Currently she is leading the national project related to green space planning and design to support health and wellbeing through physical activities of inhabitants, is involved in the Los-dama! project, where she is working on a GI planning approach for local and sub-regional level and is coordinating the UIRS team for the projects Vertical Green 2.0 and C3Places - using ICT for Co-Creation of inclusive public Places.
