About
The book is summarizing results of the collaborative two year project »Strategic Territorial Agendas for Small and Medium-Sized Towns’ Urban Systems« - STATUS where the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, as the only scientific partner, played an important role.
The STATUS project demonstrates how the integrated and participatory planning approach can contribute to the attractiveness of regions, cities and other territories in the SEE (South East Europe) in terms of the competitiveness and the quality of life. Ten territorial partners from six countries with the support of experts developed ten strategic territorial agendas as a tool for sustainable and integrated development in line with 21st century standards. Beside the agendas, the Urban centers as a participatory tools and Urban Task Forces responsible for the implementation of the agendas were developed.
