CV
Simon Koblar completed his secondary education at Gimnazija Škofja Loka in 2010 and enrolled in the geography programme at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. In 2017, he obtained his master’s degree with the thesis Proposal for an Alternative Public Passenger Transport Network in the Ljubljana Urban Region. In 2018, he received the University Prešeren Award for his thesis. After completing his undergraduate studies, he was employed as a researcher at the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia. His research focuses on geographic information systems, sustainable mobility and regional planning. In 2022, he enrolled in doctoral studies at the ZRC SAZU Postgraduate School, in the Environmental and Regional Studies module. In his doctoral studies, he examines the spatial aspects of transport poverty.
